should our troops withdraw from afganistan and just let them get on with it,there are too many of our troops getting killed for no apparent reason in my eyes,the russians who know more about afganistan than we ever will tryed unsuccesfully for many years to get rid of bin laden and his troops so what chance have we got?,i think it is a little more difficult than when we invadad iraq which i didnt agree with either!,no more killings of our troops i say........................
Our boys were sent into Afghanistan like cannon fodder against the wishes of the british people. America has already installed the puppet government and we no longer have that large a part to play in that country. I definitely think we should bring back our boys and let the country stand on its own two feet.
People get Afghanistan confused with Iraq, we SHOULD be in Afghanistan because the Taliban regime that was in power was supporting and protecting Osama Bin Laden and his terrorist Al Quieda group. Afghanistan is an entirely just war and we should stay there until the job is done...even if it takes years.
Sorry, i disagree. Our troops know what they are sigining up for here. In case of afganstan we have a moral responabilty to stay. We helped to put the taliban into power in the first place it's our duty to make sure they dont harm anyone else. We should only leave our post there when the afganistan is capable of policeing and defencing itself.
Yes I do, they were sent there in the begining because of the 'alleged' weapons of mass destruction, oh, and of course, so Blair could kiss Bush's backside.
I think it is right that our troops are in Afghanistan. They are out there doing two things...fighting against world terrorism and also tackling the drugs trade. I think they are doing an excellent job. It is a war and it's been a long war and it will be even longer. We need to take on the Taliban and Al Qaida and put a stop to terrorism which threatens our country.
yes,our boys are getting killed everyday in a war that wasn't ours in the first place,The local people don't want us there now and we aren't helping anymore
