When I reread the list of the essential items I should take with me to hospital -i was in the late months of my pregnancy-, I noticed that something was missing..a camera! How on earth could I let the first precious moments of our first newborn pass without being immortalized. We needed a camera.That was more than an evidence in itselfand we did have one in fact: an old-fashioned camera that would look ridiculous if compared to the one that were on sale. So, my husband and I decided that it washigh time we bought a barand new camera. As before every important purchase, I surfed the web looking for a bargain. I spent days and days browsing online stores hoping to find "the camera". I was completely ignorant of the main features that made a good camera, so I asked a colleague whose favourite hobby is photography.I knew I could rely on her expertise when it came to new technology. I told her about my criteria ( good price, good brand...) so she suggested one she found at Argos : a Samsung D75 7MP Digital Camera 7m pixels. 3 x optical zoom.5 x digital zoom.2.5in LCD screen. Digital anti-blur. SD memory card compatible.16MB internal memory. Movie capture with sound. 9 scene modes.Pictbridge compatible. Accessories included in the box - i.e strap, USB cable, software, 2 x AA batteries. Weight 136g.Size (H)6.2, (W)9.9, (D)2.5cm. It cost £69.99. I immediately fell in love with it and bought the next day from High Street Kensington's Argos store.We had to buy with it a memory card. How big wasour disappointment when we started using it! We noticed that the batteries didn't last at all...As soon as we took one picture, there was a message displayed on the screen saying "Low Batteries" before the camera went completely off. We had no other choice but to spend a little more and buy a battery chrger together with chargeable batteries. Things went better after that and the camera was finally ready for the D- Day.We took gorgeous pictures of my baby. With this camera, you could do numerous things.You could customize your photos: make them funny by inserting comic drawings, or add a lovely frame for a more serious effect. You could also record video films with sound. Samsung D75 is definitely one of my best buys of the year!
I got toshiba but i can use the one on my mobile which is easier and better to carry around you never know if u see an event u can record it carnival etc.
