i have recently had a baby and want to look after her myself, instead of going out to work and hiring a childminder. I want to work and was wondering if anyone knew of any work from home jobs that are genuine, all i seem to be able to find are scam jobs asking you for money upfront for a starter pack. Or the usual Avon, Kleeneze etc. and we already have those agents near us.
hmmm well i work for provident personal credit which involves issuing loans and collecting payments (locally). U dont pay anything at all upfront actually u dont pay anything at all apart from national insurance and tax as its classed as self employed. U dont need any qualifications, it does help if u have a car though, and i take my 2yr old son with me (i work about 10 hrs a wk for about 85quid), im not sure if this is what u were looking for but its a fantastic job and is easy money for the work and hours u put in.
Companies like quinn direct who deal in car insurance, a lot of their claims handlers work from home, and their workload isnt to strenuous. I only know this as I work in car insurance claims for a large company myself and I've spoken to others at quinn direct about it before!! There was infact one lady I had spoken to who was in your position, she had just had a baby and she said it was working fine for her.
