i use homeopathic remedies such as chamomilla, schuessler salts. also the dentinox, but i find dentinox is better from germany. teething rings right out of the fridge work great, too. or my fingers...
I swear by calpol. I also used to swear by nurofen until my gp said I cant give it to my kids as they have asthma (even tho the nurses in the hospital gave it to my 10 month old daughter wen she was admitted with a severe chest infection and was later diagnosed with asthma). However, I find that JUNIOR DISPROL is fantastic wen ur kids (school age) complain about a headache, sore tummy, etc at breakfast time and ur not sure whether to believe them or not, slip a soluble tablet in their juice and 15 mins later they feel fine haha.
Neither of my kids would take to teething gel or that powdered homeopathic stuff so I always swore by Calpol until I discovered Medised, its paracetamol like Calpol but it has a decongestant in it too so helps their stuffy noses which my two always suffered from when they were teething and it also helps them SLEEP. Wonderful stuff sort of like the modern day equivalent to a spoonful of brandy in their night time bottle. I would highly recommend it!
