i think it was good but i do0 not think u cpuld cheat at any thing
some of the short cuts were a good idea but i think we need to start cooking more from scratch
don't like delia smith, so i don't watch your programmes
I think she is doing a great job as she realises that not everyone has the time or money to spend on elaborate meals and she is providing them with an option to eat healthily but not through ready meals. she has looked up all of the ingredients she uses and if you get her book you will see that her products are from supermarkets adn not all from Waitrose. I totally agree also with her views on free range and organic products; that they are not an option for all people and so should be available on the shelves.
I've used frozen mash before, and its just as good as home made
a very expensive way of cheating! basically she used everything that was always ready prepared but it could cost three times the amount than if you prepared it yourself
I think it's stupid, watched it the other day and couldn't believe she was suggesting using frozen potatoes and waiting for them to defrost when it would be much quicker and cheaper just to chop up a potato yourself.
as long as its all healthy and not overdosed on artificial flavourings, seasoning and colours, its fantastic for people just starting to hav to live and cook by themselves, great time and money saver
Having seen the programme, hey most of us do that without her advice, maybe she's missing the limelite.
Fine although I prefer to use fresh mince but her ideas are good
