i think littering is a community responsibility everyone should train themselves to put things back where the got them from or to keep things in a tidy manner and it all starts in the home what do you think? why should someone else pick up my litter when their are bins less than 50 meters away everywhere?
We will all pay the price for littering eventually, either in money terms as councils increase taxes in order to deal with clearing it up or else by contracting some new plague-type virus that might evolve because of the increased rat population that's living off all the half-eaten food thrown down by lazy litterers who can't bear to take their rubbish to the nearest bin. It always amazes me how you can visit a beauty spot like a beach or park and almost always find that someone has left empty cans and food wrappers all over the place - they were happy to carry them there when they were full, why can't they carry them over to a bin or take them home? Their own next visit to that place will be marred for them too - they must like looking at rubbish.
1 of my many pet hates, i think some one should collect all the litter, then dump it in the folks who,ve dropped front room, see if they like a littlered enviorment. aint gonna happen but i can wish, can,t i
