I am a big fan of musicals and musical films so this film is already within my tastes. The songs are quite catchy and the visuals show off the dirt and grime of the setting while still being quite eye catching. That’s quite a difficult task. I already knew the story so the ‘twist’ wasn’t a surprise but my friends who saw it with me didn’t see it coming at all. I won’t give any spoilers but there is song in the middle with a surprisingly high body count.
