they say so, but i think the music industry needs to adapt with the changes and find alternative ways to make money, as people are nolonger willing to pay for what they can easily get for free! the way they will make money is by touring more and through merchandise.

no it is no more of a problem than taping records onto cassette tapes or recording the radio or watching videos on MTV or youtube . Record companies are greedy and money wasting and out of touch

Nope. Bootlegging has always been around, and it actually helps to promote the music. The people who just copy music, or download for free wouldn't have paid for a CD anyway. Meanwhile those of us who really love our music make a point of buying the legit copies. It only gets dodgy if people start making illegal copies and sell them as if they're legit.
