Being gay is something that is predetermined. I can't change my sexuality more than I can change the weather. The problem is, that most of the people that young (gay) people look up to are celebrities. It is here that there still seems to be an issue with being gay. What is the problem. Embrace your sexuality. More people would respect them more if they were true to themselves, and just flung themselves right out of the closet.

You have to be true to yourself, not live how the more "Victorian" members of society expect you to live. My dad believes that all gay people should be shot and he tried to bring us up to think the same, needless to say, we have all formed our own opinions now. He doesn't actually know that his son is gay and living with his partner and that I go out and hit the gay scene with them, which in its own way is very very sad, but its for the best that he is left in the dark!!

no there isn't anything wrong in being true to yourself whatever race,colour or creed or sexual orientation

yes it has a massive stigma attached to it which is almt impossible to avoid
