I'm not against religion but...

To get to your first POINT is there any proof? Yes there is PROOF - but the truth is you just dont believe it!! Confused? You look stupid so you probably will be - let me explain - If i told you that i had a million pounds in my room - and you didnt believe me - you would probably ask for some proof right? Well i say ok i have just bought 3 ferraris and a brand new house so you know im rich enough to have it (like we say how can god exist give me proof but you have the sun and the moon and the fact that we breath and a million other small miracles a day) then you say thts not enough proof i want some more - so i say ok then - what i will do is i will show your mum that i have the money - So i bring your mum to my house and i show her the cash and she says to you "yeah its true ive seen it" (Like god did with some of the prophets - God met and Spoke to some of the prophets directly) and then you say no mum i dont believe you i want more proof - So then i show you bank statements proving i have a million pounds that i just withdrew - Documented proof (God sends down holy books) and you STILL dont believe me....what more do you want? God has performed miracles and there is proof and evidence that god exists all around us - What exactly is YOUR burden of proof? In a criminal court the standard of proof needed os beyind a REASONABLE doubt - i can safely say beyond a REASONABLE doubt (you have no reasons) there IS clearly a GOD! AND dont think that religious people are stupid - we are the ones who actually have a brain and we can distinguish truth through all falseshoods
But moving on - the truth is your annoyance is the fact that MOST religions (Lets pin point the three monotheistic faiths) all say that the act of Sodomy or two men touching in lust and lusting after one another etc is a Sin and is punishable and is wrong - and because you have CHOSEN to be gay - you cant stand it! Now i know some of you are probably seething and getting agitated that i said he "CHOSE" to be gay but the truth is i dont know why anoyone is gay - It could be a test from god (i doubt it) it could be the devil talking to you making you find men attractive - it could be a mental illness or a disease of the mind which needs treatment in some way - it could be due to a lack of tstosterone - it could be because of some weird childhood experience- i dont know - i wish i did - cos then id be rich cos i could cure it - Gay men and women always seem to be the most messed up in the head - and everything revolves around their sexuality - are you not more of a person than who you find attractive? But back to the idea of "choosing" to be gay - you may not consciously decide to LIKE men or find them attractive - but you do CHOOSE to ACT on those feelings and thoughts and CHOOSE to become gay through your actions? How ? Well Being gay - to me - is only when you commit the act - this is about opinions remember - if everyday i went into a shop - and thought about stealing something and i went home and cried about it and really wanted to steal it but i NEVER did and nobody ever knew that i wanted to - am i a thief? Would u call me a thief? Similaraly if i wanted to murder someone - and i really thought about it alot - and what i would do to the person - but i never did and nobody ever knew and i kept it personal and private -would i be a murderer??? NO!! BUT in both cases you may say there MAY be something mentally wrong with me - the same with men who find other men attractive - its a shame - a low down dirty shame!!!

i think it is the source of many problems in the world

Religion is just a money making concern for all Western religions...Buddhism and Hinduism alth' I am not , seem the people truly believe in their Gods...Catholicism, Church of England and others should be ashamed of their part in the sexual abuse and physical abuse ove rthe years...it is all power and money, God is just an excuse..

everyone is entitled to their own beliefs but should not force it on others who believe differently

It's part of human nature to want to believe in something outside of ourselves. Once we have that belief, then religion is merely the rites and rituals which go to help us worship that being

I believe there is a Universal Consciouness, this Consciousness pervades everything, humans, animals, plants etc., In fact everywhere,
we all can 'tune in' to this consciousness, you don't need priests or vicars. The bible was produced by bishops long ago, who decided what to include. They left out the book of Enoch, and the book of James, who was supposed to be Jesus' brother. They said he was the 'Son of God'. The bible is just an over-rated newspaper. Maybe in 2000 years time people will worship the 'Sun' newspaper!!

it shouldnt be used to back up political unrest or political movements

i think religion in itself is something people choose to believe in when they want an answer. everybody wants to belong and everybody wants something to answer their questions. some aspects of some religions i agree with. but id never agree to any one particular faith.

each to there own you should be able to make your own mind up about religion

i dont like the fact it causes wars and people hide teroble attrosities behind religion.
