I loved this hand cream and so did my little girl - after the first day of me getting the cream she found it in my hand bag - she is only three and asked me whats this mummy? so i told her that I had some hand cream sent to me to test and that she mustn't touch it unless I said she could try a little bit. So she said ok mummy I won't. Five minutes later I caught her rummaging through my handbag again - and out she pulls the tube of hand ceam again .... Mummy can I have little bit on please? so I squeezed a tiny amount on to her index finger and told her to rub it all in - which she did, 10 seconds later she looked at me and said and this finger mummy ... I had to squeeze a tiny amount on to every finger and thumb before she would let me put the tube away ..... a few days later she caught me applying the cream on to my own hands and said mummy you musn't touch that unless you are told you can have some!!!! Bless her - I thought it was so sweet!
This cream is terrific - I suffer from really dry skin on my hands - probably from where they arte in and out of water so often with washing the kids hands and faces so much - but this cream really was creamy and felt lovely on my skin. I also noticed an improvement with my nails aswell - I love having long nails and yet they sometimes break so easily because of the fact that I am in and out of water so often ... however I found over the last few weeks of testing thsi cream that my nails have increased their strength aswell - I will definitely be buying this cream again in the future!
I often use websites such as www.free-stuff.co.uk and collect the samples from various different cosmetic companys . 9/10 times all you have to do is register to recieve a free-sample. I am a member of the nivea website and have been sent this as a free sample and thought it was excellent. I trained as a beauty therapist at college and often do manicures and think this product is great in making mine and others hands soft and revived. It also helps the nails to grow because of the circulation you are increasing when you massage the cream in, it also contains nutrients that your nails take in when the cream is applied.
Well it would have been nice to be picked to test it but anyway,apart from that....I am not a fan of Nivea creams, either for the face, hands or body. The reason for this being I find it too watery and nowhere near creamy enough for my dry skin.However I know plenty of people who swear by it, and it has been around a long long time, iIcan recall my Mum using it years ago when I was a kid, and she had lovely skin up til her death just before her eightieth birthday. I know some peopel swear by it but for me, it just isnt rich enough in texture for my ultra dry skin.
