i love it,as in the last opinion,it is the best show on t.v even the repeats are good,no violence no swearing something the whoel family can watch.even granny
I love this programme. It has really clever story lines ect. Its really cool and I would love to be one of the characters in it! I'm not really sure what everyone else thinks about it, but I think it's great! lolz- I'm really blabbing on here eh? lolz. Well anyway ... I love it! Some people may find it a little cheesy and thee actors bad, and to be honest- some of the actors could be exchanged! But it is still almost the best!
I enjoyed the original series because of the interation and banter between Kirk , Spock and McCoy. My favourite episode was also Amok Time because it showed us details of Vulcan culture. Brilliant idea by Gene Roddenberry to have Spock as half human half Vulcan and therefore to be always on the outside looking in as it were . Thus seeing things from a different perspective and never quite fitting in.. Star Trek was groundbreaking in many ways for its time. It had the first interracial kiss on American tv between Kirk and Uhura. brilliant show which I can watch over and over again.
I prefer the original Star Trek with Dr Spock, Captain Kirk and the rest of the crew. I often watch it when I am having trouble sleeping and I must say that in my opinion that the years have done it no harm what so ever. Yes the sets and special effects are a bit naff but I do think that is part of the appeal. I have watched the various spin offs but never enjoyed them, so I never really got pased 3 episodes.
