Its terrific and I love all the politically incorrect quips and statements - it makes all those people who object to anything sarky, facetitious, slightly sexist or racist simply froth at the mouth. Bring it on!
What a brill show. My fave character was Gene Hunt totally un pc, abrupt, straight to the point, Northern and just pure class, or as he might have said, the dogs b#?*&!@s. I just found this such an enjoyable programme that I am still disappointed that there will not be a third series. I also enjoyed all the misunderstands with Sam Tyler with him being from the future, there was some very good comic monents. The ending for me is still a bit unclear, although I do think the coma in the present days makes the most sense. Although the ending where he jumps off the building to put himself back in the coma was silly, as he could have died or no ended up in a coma. As for him going back to exactly where he was in the 60's was silly. So was he in a coma? There, confusing isn't it?
Life on Mars is a BAFTA and International Emmy award-winning British television drama series, which was first shown on BBC One in January and February 2006. The second and final series ended on 10 April 2007.
The format of the series mixes science fiction — specifically, time travel — with police drama. The central character is DCI Sam Tyler of Greater Manchester Police (played by John Simm), who, after being hit by a car in 2006, finds himself in the year 1973. There, he works for Manchester and Salford Police CID as a DI under DCI Gene Hunt (played by Philip Glenister). Over the course of the series, Tyler faces various culture clashes, most frequently regarding differences in his approach to policing compared to that of his colleagues. The series also features a strong ambiguity concerning Tyler's predicament: it is unclear whether he really has travelled back in time, is in a coma in 2006 and imagining his experiences, or if he is from 1973 but mentally unstable.

I like a lot of TV programme’s. I especially like the x-factor right now, and I also like Hollyoaks and various children’s programme’s, such as Drake & Josh and Unfabulous. I would say that I probably watch soaps the most, as I like sort of real life stories which are slightly more interesting than ordinary real life. I also enjoy watching films, and since we have upgraded to Sky plus, I try to watch at least one film a week.
