Everytime I remember to switch the TV on to watch Federer play, his game is already over. Murray has just lost to Roddick unfortunately, but neither really looks the player to beat Federer. Hurry back Nadal, a player needs a good rival to draw out the best plays.
I have sadly seen Andy Murray lose to Andy Roddick. roddick played very well and served tremendously and the match was extremely close, but I felt Andy Murray did not play at his best and served less well than in previous matches. People have said his second serve is a comparative weakness and I think, on the evidence of today, he needs to work on it. He is still young and has time on his side, but I am sure he will be very disappointed tonight - I hope he bounces back for the US Open.
I am upset Murray didn't win his match, but that is the way it went. I am now firmly behind Roddick to win against Federer. However, I have to be realistic and say that I cannot honestly see any other outcome than a Federer win.
I think Federer will win easily now that Murray is out of the equation. I have watch Murray all afternoon then a neighbour called and I missed the last few games. I know it is disloyal but I am not that keen on Murray, I don't like his attitude. I love Federer he is a perfect gentleman and a good sportsman. I really enjoyed the finals last year I cannot see it being so nail biting this year. As you say hurry back Nadal.
