it depends how long you're talking. there is a point where long hair on a woman with grey hair does look a bit rediculous, mainly because the hair in question never seems that well maintained, so it begs the question why bother. I think older people can get away with long-ish hair but not waist length, i think it depends entirely on the person. Some people just suit shorter hair, or find it's better for what they do, how much time they spend on it. Someone like Jane Fonda for example is over 60 looks amazing and has amazingly kept short hair, most older people have shorter hair because it becomes thin and such. But it's entirely up to the person what they want, so what what other people think, as long as they're happy with it.
Well! long hair at 50 plus can make a woman look like a witch or an ageing Barbie doll. I think shorter hair is more flattering as you get older and greying. That doesnt mean you have to get a pudding basin hair cut, it means that you can afford to go to an hairdresser and have a stylish spikey look or a bob or even feathered hair.
I think so. I have long hair and I'm 27. I hope to keep it for a few years yet, but I think depending on how you age, it can begin to look silly after a while
i think if its looked after and looks ok then why not, i dont think there is an age when you should have long or short hair i think its each persons preferance x
yes i do think that wen u get to a sertian age that long hair gets inappropiate because when u get older your hair gets thinner and thinner nd its neva properly straight plus when your older its harder for you to keep up with things so shorter hair shud deffo hav an age limmit lol xx jade
ERmmm yes, unless you keep it pinned up eg french plait or bun. Of course that then makes you look matronly and sometimes a bit stern. But if you look on TV at how many older celebrities actually wear their hair a bit longer, it doesn't look that bad. I've also noticed that older male celebrities seem to get stuck into the dye bottle without looking foolish too. I can't imagine that Mick Jagger and Cliff Richards haven't gone grey. Not a complaint mind, I think all men should do it if they want to look younger. Just don't go jet black
