Hae you got any true cyber friends here on toluna?

I've "met" a lot of lovely people on here too, and several of them I chat to over on facebook, and feel I have got to know them a little better. I know if I have a problem in my life I can air it on here and I will get several different perspectives on it, which always helps!
I also have a couple of truly good friends in the real world. I think it's good to have a balance.
I agree that Toluna is a wonderful site, full of lots of very interesting people and viewpoints. I don't always agree with everything said on here, but that is the point of it all, isn't it!
And this new way of being able to respond directly to a person is brilliant. Not so keen on not being able to see others topics until I've done mine though, and sometimes repetition can be tedious!

I'm fairly new to Taluna, it took me a while to find my way around the site and it's only now that I'm starting to recognise the same people and know who they are when they are giving me opinons. For the first time the other day someone sent me their email address after replying to one of my topics so that if I needed any further help or support I could contact them. I thought this was brilliant!! I think it's still going to take me a while to get used to this site but from everything I read from you 'long-termers' it looks like a great commmunity.

morning dicka, I seem to have got more of a rapport going with some members, now, especially since the messenger arrived. I'm liking that we can chat about things without having to create a topic especially.
