Bikes are not a danger human judgment and neglect are the prob. 1+1=2 bike overtaking in traffic jam + poor vision= crash . take corners wide to be seen, give yourself room to react when at speed, check tyres and brakes before riding and finally treat all others as learners expect probs and avoid them.
i think its a bit of both say a rider buys a bigger bike than he can handle then it is the bikes fault but if the rider is ridein 100mph+ then it is the rider
Motorbikes are not dangerous. it is all a matter of opinion. sometimes the rider does not pay attention but the majority of the time it is other road users not paying attention or being considerate to bikers that cause accidents
its neither. it is the drivers of the cars that dont look for drivers propperly that are dangerous. people are so naive because they see bikes cutting through traffic which angers them so they blame every motorbike incident on the rider. when its not necisarily their fault. it can be but its unfair to say all motorbike riders are dangerous and as for the bike itself. if your saying thats dangerous because its fast then they should ban all cars that do more than 70 mph.
Not all riders are dangerous, there are a few that do take risks, its more the idiots in the tin boxes that dont look before moving over or pulling out!
Motorbikes are no more dangerous than cars. you are more likely to suffer worse injuries in a bike crash than a car, but it is the people that make them dangerous (I have been hit by a car when riding my bike recently and it was the car owners fault in not looking properly)
Riders of bikes tend to be the dangerous part of biking with many 'born again' bikers not being informed or used to the sort of power typical of modern day bikes... i'm a biker and frequently dissapointed by testosterone fueled men who should know better trying to show off
i will definately agree with this, i ride myself, and i knwo the machines themselves aren't unpredictable, it's usually the roads, therefore the drivers perception
