My views from living in the states have changed from one candidate to another several times. At this very time I'm leaning towards McCain, because I feel that despite the Bush Administration's lack of popularity, the American system has nothing to do with other members of the Republican party, such as McCain. Most British people I don't think understand this, as our Prime Minister has a very different job to the US President. McCain has the experience, and fundamental values most similar to my own, but even so I feel that Obama will make a great president.
I would actually like him to win. His ideas on peace are much better than Bush's ideas of the war on terror. However I do not think he will be allowed to win because of the deep rooted racism in the southern areas. John Mccain has already showed he has poor judgement with his sidekick who should be on a comedy channel not part of a team responsible for an alleged super power. I just hope the people who are responsible for counting the votes can actually count this time!!!
)I have no problem with Mr Obama or his non whiteness but have you seen some of the USA backwoods residents. If Obama wins he will have to change his name to dead man walking, They all have guns and are not afraid to use them
