personally i have a big grudge against it at the moment. if i look back at all the bad things that have happened to me in my life, i feel that the majority of the things can be related back to drinking too much alcohol, personallly i dont drink but people around me do. is it maybe because of the things i have been through with relation to alcohol that have made me turn against it?
Think that twice a month on the alc can give u some much needed escape from routine everyday life it gives you a chance to let your hair down! and the odd glass of wine dont hurt either after a long day at work!
If people arnt being silly in how much they drink and how frequently then i have no problem with alcohol, im not much a big drinker myself, but aslong as people are being sensible
Alcohol drunk in moderation is fine. The problems arise when someone has too much, or simply can't take it. It sounds as though your friends might have a problem with alcohol, and perhaps drink too much, and then their behaviour gets out of control. You might want to reconsider if you really want to hang round these people. Maybe they (or someone close to you like someone in your family) becomes abusive or violent, or simply obnoxious. I wonder if you have been a victim of drink-induced violence or abuse. If you don't drink, you may want to get a new set of friends who don't drink, either. You don't need alcohol to have a good time.
