Mine was David Bowie's Hunky Dory and I still love to listen to the tracks, although I have had to buy it on CD as I no longer have a turntable t play the original on.

mine was bleach by nirvana. at the time i was about 11 years old and i had no clue what the songs were about. i could feel the anger and the fear tho, probably because it was what i was feeling too. as i learnt english and figured out what the songs were about, i fell even more in love with it and it's still one of my favourite records of all times.
That's an interesting one. I bought two LPs on that occasion: 1) Toyah - Anthem 2) Various - Monster Tracks
THE BLACK PARADE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! and of corse i still enjoy it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
blink 182 dude ranch....i may have been born too late but im not that old yet
The first album I ever bought was Arctic Monkey's Favourite Worst Nightmare. Needless to say, I've moved on to better things now. Listening to that album obsessively for a week has had me flushed of all needs and urges for it.
The first album I ever bought was Smash by The Offspring (quickly followed by the entire Nirvana catalogue). I have to say that I haven't listened to Smash for years but I did listen to it religiously during my teen-angst ridden younger days :)
