I am just wondering how many people try to personalise their car like they do with their houses and other posessions? I know I do as I always use a distinctive air freshener in my car and also hang a little toy puppy dog on the window which I have had for years and always comes with me wherever I go and when I get a new car it changes over from my old car window to my new one first thing. My husband thinks I am crazy but I would not feel right if these two things were not in place in my car. What strange things do you do to make an impact in your car?
My car is as unmodified as the day it rolled out of the factory. The only things I have in it are functional - a couple of map books, a blanket, sunglasses and a torch. I listen to the radio, and so don't even have my own music in there. I'm still in the stage where I see it as a method of getting from A to B, and just had to fork out £200 for an MOT and service yesterday, so it's also a drain on my finances.
We tend to add spoilers or body skirts to ours cars, even perhaps have them lowered with sports suspension. We always put new alloys on as well to make them look a bit different. Our personalised reg plate goes on too. A friend of ours has given his car a full respray in a different colour (a lovely pearlescent white) to customise it. Now that's what I call personalising it!
