Who watched 'Lost in Austen' which finished this week after 4 episodes, did anyone remember seeing Jamime Rooper in Hex and what did they think of her performance in 'Lost in Austen' I thought she was really good and the programme was well made giving a different slant to 'Pride and preduice' in fact I would like to see a follow on series set a little in the future so we get to see how they both got on.
Yes someone else who has watched Hex ~ Hugs ~ When she was mentioned a week ago in the TV Times it never bothered to mention she has been in Hex so I was disappointed. Glad to see someone remembers her.
She was great in both Hex and Lost In Austen, both of which were first class shows as well. I adored watching this. Especially Darcey's reaction to her world. I must say I do agree with him that his world looks so much nicer.
I do hope we get more shows that are the same quality as those. Just amazing!
I love lost in austen! Such a shame that it was only four episodes long. I really want there to be another series. The ending was quite rushed though but it was a happy ending and thats all i care about! The fact that lost in austen had a modern twist to pride and prejudice was really clever in attracting my age group. I thought it was good timing that it was shown around this time of the year as I'm currently studying pride and prejudice for my GCSEs.
whats with the next picture, you had the op then, ok i also watched lost in austen as my other half wanted to and i thought it was good, quite funny in places like hwne mr collins got kneed and when darcy was in modern day london
I thought it was wonderful and I didn't want it to end! Jamie made you laugh, made you cry, made you want Darcy to love her, she was a brilliant heroine living the secret dream many of us Regency Fans dream!
