I find it more frustrating than anything flicking through the menu for something to watch and more often than not returning to bbc,itv be it 1,2,3,4. I am sick to death of watching repeats. Also it is so annoying when your looking for something to watch and it states no information available!

I currently have virgin media package which i find a total rip off! I only keep this for the kiddies channels my daughter likes but now most of these are repeats!!!

I think Sky is probab ly a bit OTT, seeing as you can never get through on the phone when you have problems. I'm miffed that the England game was on Setanta! I thought the government had said that the national games should be available to everybody.

I'm quite happy with Freeview - I bought a new TV which I was going to anyway and it was digital, so freeview came free. I like having Film4 and FiveUS. BBCi was brilliant during the Olympics - I was able to watch loads of sports which I couldn't have done before, and during the recent Rugby World Cup and European Football Championships, a large number of the matches were broadcast of ITV2 ITV3 and ITV4. The license fee is there anyway, now I've got a fair few other channels - bonus.

I don't think anyone can complain about the value for money on Freeview. During the Olympics Freeview put on 2 extra programmes with extra Olympic coverage, and I noticed today they'd put on one of those channels again for the paralympics (It's channel three hundred and something I think.) I don't watch tha much TV so don't have much of a problem with repeats, and some repeats are actually quite nice to watch again.

I honestly beleave it is all a big con, unfortunatly we have no choice in our area as sky is all we can get ,the small village we live in is a conservation area and we cannot have the road dug up for cable and we cannot get clear terrestial tv.So we are stuck paying a small fortune to sky every month plus the tv license fee to watch the bbc channel and like you say aload of repeats in the summer I can live with it but in the winter thank god I've got this .
