I have just had a private message from our good friend yowzer telling me she has written to toluna and quit. Is toluna driving us apart forcing our friends to leave, we have already heard from others saying they will leave if nothing improves, how far will this go? How many more of our friends will leave? What can we do about it? Its a very sad state of affairs. If you can find me then please give me your views, thank you xx lulu
Dont worry Lulu! we all feel like packing it in because of the difficulties of logging on, posting an opinion and getting things right so its natural that people will feel its a waste of time and stop using it.But, in a few weeks, they will all be back. Im certainly not on the service as much as I used to be simply because the frustration levels are so high. There is not much one can do about losing the regulars and for every one lost, there will be a dozen new ones so Toluna wont really feel the loss. They sell themselves as a unique site who offer a cyber community that posts opinions valuable to the advertising and marketing clients that Toluna are trying to get on board. Dont worry! we will all be a little group again.
i am sorry to hear about yowzer i wondered what had happened as i have`nt seen any opinions from her i am going to miss her as i looked forward to reading her opinions and found her very caring about a lot of people on this site i hope she changes her mind and comes back, perhaps toluna might improve things if they see that regular members are leaving this site
I am sorry to hear that Yowzer has now left. I thought she was such a positive character, and when I first joined was really very friendly towards me whenever she responded to my opinions.
I have to say I am getting a little fed up with Toluna myself. For a mixture of reasons.
Opinions are not so interesting these days, people are being abusive, rude, giving not useful votes for the daftest of reasons, or so it seems.
Plus you are lucky if you get to post anything without wanting to hurl the computer across the room!
Oh come on people! don't go giving up just yet, where's the British spirit *stiff upper lip* there are a few changes but without change toluna was in danger of stagnating. As Darwin once said.. adaption is the key to survival. We still have some way to go of course, but it's not ALL doom and gloom. :)
Hi lulu, found you eventually, i hpe Yowzer hasn't and has second thoughts, is this waht Toluna want, all the oldies out and the newbies in with crap opinions and swearing and rude postings , that is all they are going to get, at least some of us are onFacebook so we can keep in touch but i don't think Yowzer is, i joined in April about the same time as Yowzer and all the friends are going to drfit apart, well i hope Toluna are happy maybe it was getting too clikcy for the newbies and this is the ne wruling to make people turn on their friends and makin it a popularity contest is one way, i9 am of once i get to my 60,000, nearly 8,000 to go and then i will be just on Facebook
