I thought Heath Ledger was brilliant at portraying the twisted character of the Joker in the Dark Knight. There was a hint of humour that lightened the mood as well as a deep darkness that does not quite leave you even when you have left the cinema. The film in itself was not scarey however there was mental anguish caused by what was not seen but implied by the scene just watched and the music. It would be classed as one of my best films as I thought the story line was good, the acting was great and Heath Ledger stole the show. My favourite scene would be the one with him dressed in a nurses outfit almost doing a hop skip into a bus as the hospital blows up behind me! It made me giggle!
crap i am the bigest batman fan going but i really didnt like him was a huge let down for me but i do get the fact they wanted to play it diferently to past jokers and i do think that they deserve a pat on the back for that and pls dont flame me for giving an opinion lol
he was absolutely fantastic it's such a shame that he died so near the release date of it so that when you saw him acting you thought of his death! he was a brilliant actor in every single film he was in!
Yes he was good he did a different joker. But i carnt help but think his performance of joker has been overated because he's departed. I think jack nicholson is still the best joker!
I thought he was brilliant in the role. The films itself was amazing, but he stood out for many people, which is quite an accomplishment given the stellar cast. He was truly believable as the Joker. I thought Jack Nicholson had done a good job, but Ledger surpassed him. Enough I would hope for an Oscar nod. He came close to stealing the scene every time he was on screen. His character was chilling, yet at times human and funny, and at some points I almost felt sorry for the Joker! Hats off to Heath Ledger.
