Can you live without a mobile phone

no I don't think i can

i am disabled and my mobile phone is what gives me the courage to venture out alone. i do feel they can be an intrusion on occassions but only as much as you allow them to be

I do not think so. It has became part of me... if I forget it at home is like if I walk in the street without clock, that by the way is also more important than the mobile for me.

I own one, but it is frequently turned off and I let very few people know the number, only immediate family and not even my boss at work. I have it turned on when I'm on trips in case my wife needs to contact me. I value my mobile for making emergency calls and letting my wife know that I'm going to be late. I would be a little more concerned doing long cycle rides in remote areas if I didn't have one, but I would still probably do them anyway. So yes, I can live without one but its a valued aid. And they do have off buttons!

Where ever i go my mobile phone comes with me. If i dont have it on me i panic!
