Do you carry an organ donor Card? I have filled in the back of my driving licence for organ donation and also carry a card as well, for I would much sooner my organs were used for somebody else when they are no longer required by myself? I think it would be much simpler if everybody donated their organs unless they carried an opt out card as this would make it a lot simpler for doctors when the donor died, than having to obtain consent from the dead persons relative if a donation card was not found.
If the last thing a person can do in life, is give someone a better\longer life with donating one or more of your organs...then why not do it? NHS shouldnt have to ask permission.
no, but i am considering it as i've come to the conclusion that the idea of waking while being cremated is unappealing, and being burried with a mobile is impractical, so if i don't have any organs i can't wake up anyway! plus it may save someone's life one day
yes and i am on the national register, have discussed it with family and also give blood regularly, i think it is really important to do if you can. i have let it be known i would like a eco buriel but ony after i am ded
