I am 21 and have been driving for just over 2 years....I started my lessons on my 18th birthday as i think that it is too early to start driving at 17...(I know it's only a year after but a year makes a big difference). I think lessons should start for 18 - to 19 years old...some kids pass whilst still 17 and i think this is too young.Young drivers are having accidents too young....what do you think?

17 is ok
I disagree, I think it is fine for young people to start driving at around 17, simply because that is when young people want to and are practically adults. Although there are a lot of accidents and perhaps a lot might be young people, that does not mean that all young people would drive haphazardly and cause accidents. I think hearing that a young person is blown out of proportion on the news and by the media. You only hear about it because bad news sell papers more than good news!
When you can afford your own car,insurance,repairs and petrol!!!!!
