I currenly have just over 19000 points and only because I did some surveys which eventually said I was ok to do the surveys and then I did around 131 opinions so got 13100 opinion points for that month. So it took me about 2 months I think. But I know it will take me ages to do the opinion surveys and even longer before I get any points from some of the surveys that I get simply because in nearly all the time I am not apart of the target group!
As at yesterday I had 99000 and it took me approximately 1 month to get them, but then again I always aim if I am going to put an opinion to do 80 words or more and I do spend a number of hours on here as have a very boring job with lots of downtime and also I purposefully keep track of how many opinions I answer each day and have a goal for the end of the month as to how many points I want to have earned for vouchers. On a fantastic month I can earn 120,000 points, on a bad month when not doing opinions around 20,000. Points aren't free on here you have to work for them through committing time to answering opinions but it can be done ie answer 5 opinions a day with 80 words or more = 14,000 per month. etc and you have survey points on top of that and I can get around 20,000-30,000 per month from surveys
Ive just spent my first 60000 points on a HMV voucher so im down to 15 points at the moment but waiting on quite a few points from surveys I have completed,when I first joined this site it was all about trying to get something from it,but have found its a bonus as I actually enjoy creating opinions and leaving my opinions on other members.It does take a while but keep going and them points soon add up.
I've been a member of Toluna for just over 9 weeks and yesterday sent for my first HMV voucher for 60,000 points and have still got 4,900 in my account (woo hoo) I've done a lot of surveys so I hope they keep coming, although some dont fit my profile and get screened out (grrrr! annoying!) If you're a newby don't forget to do your interest surveys as they really boost the start of your account. I try to do mostly 80 worders, but that wont be necessary soon when the new rules kick in ( don't know when ). Keep going cos its surprising how the points build up.
I've currently got 123,380 points, which I've earned since November last year. I have only recently started using the opinions pages, so my earnings have just started going up quicker. I've taken all the sponsored polls, which have added a little. Although I quite regularly get screened out of them, I have completed a lot of the online surveys, which have varied between 2,400 and 10,000 points. I do get quite a few where the result is "sorry this survey is already closed", and there have been some I couldn't be bothered with, where they have told me the expected duration for very few points.
Not sure how long it takes as the points for completed surveys aren't awarded straight away, which makes it a bit harder to keep track of exactly where you are all the time, but when points for opinions were added a couple of days ago I had 76,800 points so ordered a Sainsburys voucher and now I'm back down to just under 17,000. So it'll be a while before I can order another but it's still fun visiting Toluna, reading and writing opinions for points (while we can still get them). ezomir, you get 100 points for every opinion of 80 words or more that you write including the ones you create but they aren't awarded straight away - typically take about a month to come through, and you get 15 points each time you vote on a sponsored poll (but not on the others)- those points are added on almost immediately. You could always jot down the survey number as you do one so you can see later on when you get your points for it.
How is it with those 80 words opinions? Do you gain points for creating new topic? Or for opinions like this one? I have points from intrest surveys, from surveys that i get through e-mail (sometimes i have luck to qualify). I also regularly vote in polls. I have been member for only 4 months but i already have around 50000 points. I am waiting for some points for surveys I have already completed but they are not closed yet. This is little bit annoying as you forget how many points you should get.
Back up to 19495 points, having applied for 3 HMV vouchers (180,000 points) at end of May! Really chuffed! And that is without having received a single survey, not even one that I do not qualify for, in 4 weeks (which is getting pretty annoying). I usually gain sufficient points over a year for at least 4 HMV vouchers each year. I have been a member for two and a half years. And I have also tested several (5 or 6) products (two this year).
