Only religious freaks and nutters. What an absolute waste of a sunday morning listening to a bearded vicar babbling on about utter rubbish. You'd have to be insane to go to church these days.

I'm afraid you're just using stereotypes - you obviously don't know any Christians...if you did you would see that many are balanced and caring and intelligent... and the leaders are not all vicars lol and not all have beards. All religious institutions are places where egocentric power hungry individuals bastardize religions true message for their own needs and whims. I say this as a Muslim not to criticize Christianity alone but all including my own
My church is alive and kicking big style! Not every church is about sticking to the tried and tested...our church is always about uplifting worship, fun sermons, powerful times and even gritty honesty about current events too. My church is VERY interesting and loving.
I do because I love God and I long to be in his presence and enjoy the fellowship of my brethren. Church is really fun if you find one that the worshippers are worshipping God in spirit and in truth.
I would love to be going to churdh but it is diffiuclt when living with an atheist, lol. So all I can do for the most part is keep my faith close to my heart and practice what I believe is right and good.
