When making yorkshire puddings, whisk eggs really well before adding flour and milk. Also make sure oven and fat is extremely hot--then you will be sure of 'roof' raising puds to die for.
homemade meals are much better than processed. make your own pies and puddings, use low cal sugar, see the benefits of your family enjoying something u have created
When frying meat, don't put oil in the pan put the oil on the meat, rub it in then put the meat in the pan. Stops you using excess oil and the meat won't stick to the pan. Also if you want to marinate it you can use a flavoured oil ie one with chilli it, absorbs into the meat nicely. Also do one dish wonder meals where you can put all the ingredients in and then walk away and leave them to do their business and not have to use pans and pots etc like lasagne, curries, stews, bolognaise, soups, roasts etc. Makes cleaning up alot easier if there is only 1 dish.
