Should peanut packets really have 'may contain nuts' written on it?

i suppose there may be a few morons out there..where theres a blame theres a claim these days so manufacturers have to cover themselves

yes thay should have what thay contain on the packet say like i was a pelerdict to peanuts i whould kill me

yes they should,its like this if you are allergic to oysters and they fry your fish in the same oil,you still can get sick.Some people can die from these types of allergies.

YES IT SHOULD HAVE THIS WARNING ON IT BECAUSE SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE THIS ALLERGY AND IT CAN BE FATAL

yes,and not only this they have to write down where are the nuts coming,which country,where are they grow up,..with pestizide(!) or not..and if they hade enough sun (to grow-up healthy),...etc,...and where are the parents from!!you never know!!

it seems a bit superfluous wouldn it not be more sensiblle to sat this packet definitely contains nuts there is not really any ambiguity about it

Yeah as stupid as it sounds there would be too many people ready to sue if they didnt so all there doing is covering their backs if anything was to happen.
