I think we should bring back that death penalty as the risk of executing the wrong person has basically gone, now that we have DNA. I understand why they took it away, we were executing the wrong people, but that really won't happen now. Also It gives murderers something to be afraid of rather than prison

no. its a bad reflection on a society when its unlawful to kill but then tells us its ok as a form of punishment.
Yes. But it must be for cases that are 100% proved and not crimes of passion. It would cut costs of keeping them in prisons for years.
yes, for sicko's that harm children in any way either hang the sick freaks or chop off their bollocks
No, history shows that mistakes were made and just maybe its the easy way out for the perpetrator rather than face prison.
If the crime is unrefuted then murderers, rapists and peodos, could al deserve the death penalty. We'd have no problem with over crowded prisons then
oh yes, even if they don't deserve it, it'll clear the prisons then we can put all the teenagers in there
yes but there should be some kind of waiting period of 5 yrs to make sure the person is guilty
without a doubt may offenders are REoffenders they didnt learn the first time so why give them a second? maybe not for all law breakers just the serious ones
yea, i think so....life for an intentionally taken life. as for mistakes made in history, when we used the death penalty, DNA, finger printing, lie detector tests were not about, technology is so advanced that it is possible. although i do think that it should only be used in circumstances where the evidence is conclusive.
In certain cases I'm definitely for it (an eye for an eye). If there were generally harsher punishments, than maybe more people would reconsider committing the crime in the first place.
