I went to see "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" last night and the girl who gave us the tickets asked us if we knew it was in Swedish with English subtitles as apparently this was putting quite a few people off.

Do you go out of your way to avoid foreign language films? You're missing out on such amazing titles as Amelie, Let The Right One In, The Orphanage....I could go on! Are you like me and looking for good cinema regardless of the language?

What do you like more? Agood film on the telly or a good book in your hand? Ilike reading much more than watching TV. Of course it is easier to watch a film than to read the book. It takes much longer to read the story than to watch the story on TV. But reading is better for your phantasie and creativity. And so I prefer to read. But what about you? Is that really true that young people nowadays don´t read books at all?

Coco and ghosty3's afternoon was constructively spent watching daytime television programs - and learnt alot about life

- Doctors - insight into complicated lifes of general practice staff and their interpersonal relationships with each other
- Murder she wrote - Jessica taught us how to solve a murder single handed

- Followed by CBeebies program called

3rd and Bird (PICTURE FOR TOPIC FROM PROGRAM)

Described by freeview program guide as 25 part series of programs to teach children (and adults) about social interactions, convention, and functioning. In todays episode several of the Birds participated in seedbox (like go-cart) race and littlest bird in tiny seedbox won race as wheels fell off larger competitors seedboxes.

Coco and the rest of his parrot flock loved this program especially background music. They made their own background noise chirps and squeals to go along with program and jumped up and down few times in cages.

Does anyone watch this program - accompagnied by their children - it is best afternoon TV show Coco and ghosty3 seen laterly -

If not do you or did you have any favourite younger childrens programs. ?

I'm very much a 10 guy myself. How the hell he got all that funding for films that were never watched outside of GCSE English classrooms I'll never know. He didn't need to release his autobiography at the age of 30 to explain to us all that he's nothing but a smug, complacent, slimy little excuse for a human being either.

A few nights ago I couldn't sleep, so at 4am I peeled and stewed some apples for a pie, washed and dried some dishes, swept the kitchen floor, put a load of washing on then hung it to dry, watered the plants then had a shower and finally got back into bed where I slept soundly.
When you can't sleep do you get up and do something or do nothing at all and hope you drop off soon?
