Hi just heard that christian daily has died i loved him in to buy or not to buy he brought some fun to a normally dull show and for that reason i enjoyed it when i watched my thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time, did you know he had died? RIP Christian

Let us hope that it was a natural occurrence, but with Lee McQueen's suicide recently, it does make you think of what might have occurred. He was quite a character and obviously loved his job and appears to have been much-loved by his colleagues. There does not seem to be a bad word for him and the loss is felt much more because of that.

I have heard on the radio that the government have plans drawn up to replace the Hose of Lords with a senate, elected by proportional representation. I happen to feel that the Lords does some good work as extant, is less partisan than the commons, and has stood up against some of this government's more draconian legislation. Not saying that it's perfect. Wouldn't we be better off making sure that Parliament was elected proportionally before tinkering with the Lords? Perhaps an elected PM would be a start-even if only elected amongst MPs!

Personally I think Labour should stay in or possibly a hung Parliament .....this could see greater cooperation between the parties ....the downside could be that they would be endlessly squabbling though .....What do you Toloonies think? How will you be voting?
