Once again another well known tiem has changed names. First they mucked about with our chocolate bars now they have moved in on our toilet rolls. Charmin is now to be called Cushelle - Cush bloody elle, what is that all about? I suggest to all Tolunaites that we protest at these name changes. Enough is enough. Bring back Marathons and Opal Fruits and Jif and all the others that were changed for the foreign market. Stand up for our manufacturing culture!!

Onwards and upwards!!

We bought two large tins for £8 when on offer .then they went back up and now Asda have them at 2 tins for £7 and they were flying off the shelves hubby said this week. they are all over the stores and if they can make a profit at that price why not all the time? They are encouraging us to be obese with these low prices and the boxes are staying on the shelves in favour of the tins around here.What are your opinions and have you bought your "bargains" yet?

I have unlisted my number and used the service which blocks them but I still manage at least three calls a day. i try to be polite but they are starting to get on my nerves so I have snapped at one or two of them recently - particularly when they call after 6pm and when I have broken of something important to answer the phone. I can't even be bothered to ask them how they got my number and ask them to take me off their lists as I know they probably won't. It's time to name and shame them. My worst ones at the moment are consolidation/companies who claim to want to help with 'new government legislation' for writing off debt and home security - don't know the names as I never get that far in the call!!
