A really good restaurant. We have been to three different "Bella's" and liked them all. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to be good to small children, which is nice - many restaurants provide a high-chair and crayons, but nothing else - Bella Italia take the time to check your kids are enjoying themselves. We had a special meal there for my birthday and were made to feel very welcome and a bit important. The food is always good and the choice is good too. They are not fazed by requests for slight changes to what's on the menu and seem to make sure that children's meals are ready first, so they can cool them before bringing to the table (but not so that the food is cold).
The desserts are good too - not just an afterthought, but a decent part of the menu.

Went to Wagamama after a matinee-theatre trip in London. It was only just tea-time, but there was quite a queue. There were four of us, but we had to wait a long time to be seated. Then it was like being back at school - I half expected someone to bang a large spoon on the table and demand we stand for grace.
The food was ok, but not special. It was interesting to watch them in the kitchen, but then I can do that in the local Indian take-away or the Mongolian restaurant in town.
The staff were not particularly efficient or polite. We were basically treated like a group of kids - "sit there", "do this, do that"...
We had to wait a while for the food and it was not very exciting. The long table and cramped conditions didn't make for very sociable eating -I spent too long trying to avoid the elbows of my neighbours and couldn't hear my companions properly when they spoke to me.
There are now several Wagamama restaurants nearby, but I really don't feel any interest in going there - why repeat an experience that was so wholly unrewarding?

The chips are nice. The chocolate milkshake tastes burnt. The "hot toasted teacake with butter" was cold without butter. The burgers vary from well-done to rather singed. The chicken burgers are always good and my husband likes their veggie one. My son likes the popcorn chicken (even though I think it's real junk!).
I also don't like the fact that they don't serve milk with children's meals, as that always gives me a problem finding a healthy option. But then, if you go to BK, I suppose you're not trying to eat healthy anyway - just to fill a hole till you get home.
Variable quality on the food. Fairly unenthusastic and lazy staff. Often not very clean.
Not my favourite place - I only go there on sufferance.

way worse than maccy d's especially the burgers, they are too burnt
