If the answer is yes, how come the church's are empty as well as sunday schools, so the only conclusion i can come up with is that NO is the answer, i think we all believe in some way, but not enough to go to church,or maybe at best that once a year outing to midnight mass, what ever religion you are, me on the other hand, dont believe at all, but i dont hold it against others that do, thats there wish, you make out of this life what you put in, and its not thanks to god, we have plenty of holidays on the back of religion, but not very many of us celebrate the religious side just the fact its a holiday.
If i was honest i think the church what ever Denomination, are bent and in it for them selves, one of the largest land owners in the world, but always have there hand out for more money for a new roof, so nobody can sit under it, jewels and wealth all over the place, but its about the religion, MY ARSE its about how much money we can make for us.

I just gave my opinion before, which I am afraid got lost a bit somewhere down the line so here I am again. what I was trying to say was that on a local or national level it may not be important say as it was in previous generations, but that is not to say that it isnt important.

However if you look at it from a global or international perspective you can see that religion plays a great part in the way of the world

Everything is dependent upon everything else i.e we are dependent on food, air, water, the plants are dependent on the sun. I believe there is something independent of all the things that are about and has created all these things but is not dependent on what he has created. That is God. What do you think?

The whole concept of Jamie Oliver’s Pass It On is that he taught 8 people 10 recipe groups and those people then taught those recipes to 2 people, then those 2 people taught it, etc. I was just interested in knowing if anyone has actually signed up for it. It seems like a good idea because it gets people starting to cook and away from unhealthy food, but I thought from an organisational and motivational viewpoint, it may be quite difficult to manage.

no. If people want to cook they will. If they dont they wont.There are plenty of recipes to be had in the library or on the internet for those interested. I dont think you can make people want to engage in the art of cooking if they have no real interest. It is so easy to buy ready meals or take aways if you have the money. PS the only take away I get are chips which I really enjoy. Just delicious
