Does anyone else feel that political correctness in this country is getting out of hand? Fair enough, people who offensively racist, sexist, etc should be shamed out of their awful behaviour. But I personally feel that silly things are now not P.C to say. Someone I know was looking after a class of children, when some of them started tickling him etc as children do. He said "stop it you little monkey" and because one of the children was ethnic minority, the parents made an official complaint about him. "you little moneky" is such a general comment; I know he didn't mean it in an offensive way, and I also know he certaintly didn't mean it offensively! I'll probably get reprimanded for repeating this story; but seriously, does anyone else feel the same?

What comics did you read as a child? I did not get a comic of my own for quite a while and could not wait to go to my grandmas in order to read one of my cousins comics Beano and Dandy which he always left there. When I eventually did get a comic of my own I got Bunty and used to sit patiently waiting for the paper boy to deliver it and then I would read it from cover to cover without a break. When I got older I changed it to Jackie.

Can you remember the first Car your parents ever had when you were a child? Some of course will be a lot further back than others and therefore some people will never have heard of the makes. We used to have a pale blue Standard ten and I can even remember the number plate it was HCB 241 and I remember being one of the first people on our road to have a car the year must have been about 1957, and I even remember my father bringing it home and us going out as a family in it for the first time.
