As a nurse I am sick of people complaining about the health service. I hate how the media always focuses on the negative from super-bugs to vermin on wards, but never highlights any of the positives. I worry that all this negative press makes people scared to go into hospital for necessary treatment, and their anxiety makes the whole recovery process longer. Yes, there are problems, but I think the same problems would arise in privately owned hospitals too and I think that private health care would only serve to make things worse for those on low income.

The NHS is something that we should all be proud of. I think that the majority of people working in the NHS (including me) are passionate about our jobs and our patients and aim to deliver the best service we can with what we've got. It is a service that most of the world should be envious of. So let's keep the NHS going.
