i think anyone carrying a knife or found guilty of assaulting someone with a knife should face a custodial sentence. I think 2 years minimum for possesion, and depending on how severe the crime is, up to a life sentence. If someone is carrying a knife only one question needs to be asked, and that is why is he carrying it? I can only see 4 reasons, Assault, Murder, Armed Robbery and Mugging. Anyone attempting to use a knife or any deadly weapon knows that it could cause the victim severe harm, so they are using it with intent to seriously harm or even kill. If someone intends to use a knife on another human being they do not deserve to walk the streets and until the government start punishing strictly, these yobs will continue to abuse our right to live in a fear free society. If the judges give harsher sentences people will start to think twice about carrying a knife.

i think they are dispicable and there is absolutely no excuse for killing someone. Parents that kill their children because they want to marry someone from a different religion or background, it's disgraceful and shame upon them that commit such a souless crime. what makes it worse is that these victims are their loved ones.

Yes, i think capital punishment should be brought back. For murderers and paedophiles. In cases which there is 0% doubt that the crime was commited by anyone else.
