My husband thinks £40 I think this is excessive what do you think?

i would be taking at £50 per week as he needs to learn to be independent. I started giving money when i was 18 and now i am very good at managing money

I love playing games that mean taking a risk, but would never go as far as parting with my money, or morals! Thankfully, nobody in my family gambles, but I have friends who have had parents who do, and have lost vast amounts of money causing all sorts of greif. Some people seem to go too far, and can't control themselves it seems? Unless of course, you are one of the ones who can, and limits themselves to a certain amount of money? But isn't there always that temptation to bet/gamble just a few pounds more?...
