I beleive all women should wear make up if it enhances the way they look. I personally would never leave the home without my mascara and eyeliner on. You do not have to spend ages aplying make-up it takes just a few minutes to slap on a bit of foundation to cover the blemishes and make your face look better and mascara and eye liner makes all the difference to ones appearance. A bit of lippy and your done. There are absolutely loads of different brands of make-up available on the High Street but there is no need to spend a fortune on this. I have tried so many different brands over the years but the cheaper ones are quite often as good, if not better than, the more expensive ones. I don't like to see make-up on young girls but once they reach teenage years i think girls should be allowed to wear it. Come on ladies, get your slap on, it makes you feel good if you know you look good!!
its nice to make an effort and put on some make-up, although it can be quite time consuming (guys have got it easier when getting ready for a night out) it can make you feel a bit better about yourself. Although it is of course nice to go for a more natural look and not be too overdone. Also, some guys like it when their girl has made the effort but I guess this is more for nights out and not just for popping to the supermarket.
I don't believe enough is being done to tackle bullying in many cases. The outcome of these situations are it is often the victim that is punished; they are to leave school early, to sit in isolation at break times or even relocate to a new school. Therefore, the bully knows they can get away with it and will be satisfied with the results.
While teachers may often be criticised for failing to deal adequately with bullying, they should not be entirely to blame, since many of these teachers are on the receiving end of bullying themselves and if they try to intervene false allegations can be made against them. There is a cleary a need for better training for these teachers, to spot the danger signs and to intervene effectively. Also, it is crucial for the parents of the bully to try and change their childs ways but some are not interested. Indeed, a childs upbringing must be taken into account, maybe this child just wants attention.
Also, of use in schools is to develop a 'telling ethos', whereby telling is rewarded and not punished and it is made consistently clear that bullying will not be tolerated.
Fast food, while undoubtedly unhealthy, is fine in moderation. I don't believe that people should deny themselves food that they enjoy, but at the same time there is a limit on what must be consumed. It is often argued that it is a convenience food which is relatively cheap and appealing to those with hectic lifestyles with no time to cook. However, there are simple, healthy options that people can cook in a short period of time so really there is a no excuse. The reality is, which is evident from the success of fast food chains, that some people are fast food addicts. Yet if these people claim they do so because they have no time, they should consider easy to make dishes. In fact cooking may serve as a relaxing and enjoyable experience for people under stress and the benefits in terms of energy and health outweigh a cheap fix of fast food.
