I went to a funeral service last week and it was a joyous occasion as the family had decided to celebrate the life of the deceased rather than be gloomy and weepy. One of the family gave a very amusing reading and at the end, everybody clapped.

Would you clap a really good sermon, a reading that has been beautifully read or a solo that has been sung or played exquisitely? or do you think the congregation should sit in silence? I must admit that I would like to applaud as I approve of the way a Happy Clappy Church congregation talks, cheers and sings and they seem to make religion such a joyous occasion.

i think they should all go home england was a much better place without them, thousands of english people have been killed to keep this country english and now look at it.

i think that question is a bit unfair and pointless as we as a people do nto make the imigration ploicy for this country only way we influence it is when its time to vote and how many bother doing that anymore so you get what your apathy creates

Who was your first proper friend, and how old were you when you first knew them? My first proper friend was a little girl called Moya. Her house backed on to mine across the gardens and we used to wave to each other from our bedroom windows. I was about three at the time and she was a few months younger. We eventually went out into the gardens and got to know each other and played together all the time. We even went to the same infant schools but she was in the year below me . We still remain friends to this day and keep in touch mainly through Christmas cards.
