How do other pepole feel about the fact that nativity scenes and other traditional things that go alongside the celebration of traditional Christmas in schools and work places alike, are being banned so as not to offend other religions? I don't see other religious groups being told that they cannot celebrate their beliefs as they choose.

If political correctness is about accomodating all types of faiths and people, then why are Christians being victimised? I believe whole heartedly in fairness and allowing everyone to follow their beliefs, as long as this is done in a respectful manner by everyone.

I am not a religious person myself, but I find myself outraged at the sacrifices Christian people within it are making, all for the sake of not 'offending' anyone.

I am quite sure that few people from other religions would care how we celebrate, and what decorations we put up etc, so long as they are also given to chance to do so themselves.

In an age of human rights, Christmas appears to be being 'shut down' by government officials, who, if they are not careful will create cultural and religious divides where they need not exist.

Humanitarian fairness is surely in place to ensure that EVERYONE gets the chance to enjoy their religion rather than feeling it is wrong to do so.

It would be a shame indeed if the school plays are cancelled and even more tradition in Britain becomes a thing of the past. We are willing it seems to embrace and accept others, which is how it sohould be, but how about embracing our own?
