I'm not prepared to get into debt especially with the credit crunch. I hate tackling all the shoppers in the town centre who buy any old tat. I prefer to shop online and take the stress out of Christmas shopping. It's lucky I don't have kids.

I love the nostalgia of Christmas, but I feel that has lost its meaning and turned into a commercialised event once a year.

I think it is a time for people to come together, to enjoy a time of the year united where we all celebrate. I do not believe you have to believe in the baby Jesus and his donkey to enjoy this time of year. I appreciate the time we all get to spend together, the spirit of the festive holiday and an excuse to get together with people and relax for at least one day in the year.

It only becomes a commercialised event if you let it.. I feel Christmas is a time to spend with people you care about, regardless of gifts, money spent etc.

Well this year is the first year where i have actually nearly finished my Christmas shopping. Im one of those people who normally leaves it to last minute but this year i decided to start early so i didnt have to rush around at the very last moment. The down point of this though is that i dont have any room to move in my house any more.

not yet, i'm gonna wait for the sales to come before i buy anything.
