I am walking in the street with no care in the world until people start being rude to me. I am dressed in black wearing black eye makeup and have piercings ! Does this give people the excuse to be rude to me push past me and pass nasty looks.

i used to be a goth, and still put all the make-up et al on when i go out, so it's all normal to me. i think people need o just lighten up and see that goths are nothing to be scared of.

So it’s between Barack Obama and John McCaine for the position of US President now that Hillary Clinton has been beaten in the Primaries. Everyone seems pretty convinced that Obama is now a dead cert for the White House, but is he? Although opinions polls suggest he will easily beat McCaine it is historically proven that polls and actual results are often completely different. I have a strong feeling that when it boils down to standing in a booth and marking that X on a piece of paper, most white Americans will end up voting for McCaine and that McCaine will win by quite a large majority. Sadly I think America still has a long way to go before a black man will become President, and even longer until they elect a woman.

astoundingly its beginning to look that way. don't take this for racist, but i always viewed things about the colonial traitors in the frame of mind that they would have a woman premier first, before a black guy. maybe i was wrong. (nah)
