Research has suggested that organic food contains far more nutrients than unorganic produce and that it is better for us. It does however tend to be far more expensive, so whilst it may be better for our health, is it better for our pockets?
I think it is well worth paying extra for the organic food, particularly in the case of meat and animal products (eg chicken, turkey, milk and eggs) as although the word organic doesn't confirm it, it is likely that these animals have hada free range lifestyle in addtion to being organic which means no nasty artificial pesticides or anything such as that.
In my opinion, organic milk tastes far superior to unorganic milk so I suggest everyone at least buys that!

perhaps we should all be encouraged to grow our own and not pay such inflated prices for organic

what do other members think of the rise in fuel costs
The AA’s Fuel Price Report for mid-December shows average UK petrol prices have reached 102.81 pence per litre, up 1.3 pence on last month, and diesel 107.95, up 2.51 pence.
Motorists have already been hit by the Chancellor's fuel duty increase of 2p a litre on October 1 and it will rise again in April 2008 and 2009.
for what ever reason the goverment give us for each rise ie the terrorists the wanting to help our enviroment yet the goverment still make infact over 60 percent of fuel costs goes to the goverment The Treasury expects to make nearly £25billion from fuel duties this year – more than the combined total from inheritance tax, capital gains tax and stamp duty
it will go up yet again with increases of another 2p in April 2008 and 1.84p in 2009 which were announced by Gordon Brown earlier this year when he was Chancellor
where will fuel taxs stop or maybe the public need to stand together and stop this over priced fuel

they are extortionate and increase all our costs whether car drivers or not
