The abortion debate asks whether it can be morally right to terminate a pregnancy before normal childbirth.
Some people argue that abortion is always wrong. Some think that abortion is right when the mother's life could be at risk. Others think that there is a range of circumstances in which abortion is morally acceptable. In this essay I will discuss both sides of the debate.

The definition of abortion is the deliberate termination of a pregnancy.
It is the law that killing an innocent human being is wrong. So those who say that abortion is acceptable in some cases argue that a fetus isn’t yet alive and life doesn’t begin until birth but people who argue that abortion is morally unacceptable say human life begins from conception so a fetus is a human being at the start of life and terminating a fetus is killing an innocent human being therefore abortion is always wrong.
However in extreme circumstances, where the mother is either going to be unable to bring up the child, if she had a terminal disease, for instance, or if the parents were imprisoned it might be deemed acceptable by some people for the pregnancy to be aborted because the mother would be unable to raise the child or even in some cases survive the pregnancy or it could be said that many unwanted pregnancies result from unwanted intercourse and forcing the woman to go through with pregnancy is forcing the hardship upon the mother when the father bears responsibility also. One key issue of abortion is that of underage intercourse leading to underage pregnancy many people believe it is not appropriate to force and underage girl to go through with pregnancy as she could not possibly raise a child being one herself.

The woman should have the right to decide what the best for the baby and for her
