I work in a hairdressers so I see lots of people but over the last few months with the snow and the damp dark nights people have been coming into the shop and I swear you can almost see the black clouds above their heads. But what a change when the sun comes out! Smiley faces and happy conversations, its ace! Its almost contagious. Does the sun make you feel happier and have you noticed the change since the firey ball has appeared lol.

At a recent parents evening I was told to read more with my daughter. I fully appreciate what she was saying but I just do not like reading and I think my daughter can sense that and I think I am doing more harm than good. I was just wondering how many more people do not enjoy reading? Perhaps its just that I don't have the time but when I do get to a stage in my life where I do have more time I may enjoy it more? I just don't know.

I have always loved it ever since I was little & used to annoy my family when younger by always having my head in a book. I collect series’ which my family found odd but I like following characters through there lives & still do. I am a bit choosy though about what I read as the books I like most are school stories or books where the characters are genuine caring people who often help others. Favourite authors are E M Brent Dyer, Elsie J Oxenhom & then there is the ballet series that I like by Jean Estoril & Lorna Hill & also the books about Anne by L M Montgomery. I also still like the Katy books by Susan Coolidge& the Little Woman series.

Do you love being surrounded by family photos, I do, I have 12 family photos just in my lounge and various others around my home. How many do you have in your home?

i have loads and loads in my home that are still waiting to be put back up after me decorating and i still havent got round to it x
